Is there anything better than nuts and chocolate!? I made this dark chocolate almond bark as part of my New Years Eve food spread and it turned out delicious! Such a quick and easy dessert that looks beautiful on the table and is great for guests.

Instructions

  1. Chop the almonds and microwave the chocolate chips in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until melted (mine took 1 minute 30 seconds total).
  2. Spoon a layer of chocolate into the cupcake liners (I doubled the liners so they held their form) and sprinkle with the chopped almonds.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and then sprinkle with maldon salt (the salt shows up more if you sprinkle once the chocolate is set) -- enjoy!
