Grilled Romaine Salad

You will not believe how incredible this salad is until you try it for yourself. Grilling the romaine transforms its texture and gives it a delicious smoky flavor. So easy too!

Instructions
- Cut the romaine lettuce heads in half lengthwise so that the leaves are still attached to the base; drizzle the cut size with olive oil.
- Turn the grill on high and grill the romaine cut side down for 2-3 minutes or until lettuce is slightly charred; flip over and grill the back side for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the grilled lettuce on a plate and drizzle with sweet italian dressing (or the dressing of your choice); top with sliced avocado, pecorino romano and some finishing salt - enjoy!
Notes:
To make this recipe vegan, leave out the pecorino Romano.
