My mom’s sugar cookies! Blueberries in every bite, a soft/pillowy texture, and not too sweet. Simple ingredients that are probably stocked in your pantry right now!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, sugar and eggs; mix in the baking powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla, flour and milk.
  3. Fold in the frozen blueberries until you get streaks of color throughout the dough (don’t mix too much!) and form into 1” balls (easiest to use a cookie scoop if you have one).
  4. Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are slightly golden brown (center may still look a little underdone; we love them this way, but feel free to cook longer if you prefer a more well done cookie).
  5. Let cool for 5 minutes and enjoy!
