Crispy pan fried tofu topped with a spicy Korean sauce, my new favorite vegan appetizer!

Ingredients

Sauce
Tofu

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients for the sauce and set aside.
  2. Cut the tofu in half lengthwise and then cut each half into 10 thin squares.
  3. Heat 1 Tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat; add the tofu and pan fry until golden brown (5-6 min), flip and add the additional Tbsp of oil and pan fry until golden.
  4. Transfer onto a paper towel lined plate (to absorb excess oil) until all tofu is cooked; place on a serving plate, drizzle with the sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds on top - enjoy!
